Are there different types of loft conversions?

Yes. Converting the area already available in your loft is called a "roof light" or "Velux" conversion. A conversion with an extension to the roof, which increases the amount of standing room in the loft, is called a "Dormer" conversion.

Do I need planning permission for my loft conversion?

Only in certain circumstances. At Attik Attak we can advise you on this.

Can all lofts be converted?

No. It is not feasible or practical to convert some lofts. We can carry out a feasibility survey, which involves a visit from one of our surveyors.
